The
Fire Ant Destroyer is a patented system for the eradication of fire
ants. After more than three years of testing, this environmentally safe
product has proven to be an effective tool for the elimination of "red
imported fire ants", the species most prolific in the Southern United
States. It is easy to use and portable for use on numerous mounds. The impressive apparatus is made of heavy duty, galvanized metal. It is engineered to produce a controlled simulation of a flood that evacuated the ants, including the queen, and the eggs, if any. A Colony will be destroyed in less than fifteen minutes... never to return, keeping your home or farmland safe for animals, children, crops and ornamental plants.
Don't keep fighting!
Make fire ants surrender to you with the patented "Fire Ant Destroyer." ![]()
Step One
Remove the "Fire Ant Destroyer" from packaging and install hose connection and handles. Connect the water hose to the Destroyer and turn the water on at the faucet. Have the water off at the unit.
Step Two Then place it over the targeted mound, firmly twisting the apparatus back and forth a few times to cut into the ground to create a seal. Turn the water on to slowly flood the mound. The patented side flow rim is engineered to control the water flow so that the ants evacuate from the mound instead of being trapped alive inside. As the water rises, you notice ants scurrying around bringing up eggs... if any. the queens will also come out.
Gradually flood the mound. When the water gets to the top of the mound, turn the water off. By this time the mound should be black with ants. Then spray the ants, the water and the rim of the unit with any "kill on contact" spray. After the water recedes, spray the entire surface inside the destroyer. Then remove the unit and go to the next mound... Happy ant killing! |

Frequently asked questions
Is the Fire Ant Destroyer safe to
use?
Yes... it is environmentally safe and the design confines the ants during the entire process. Will the fire ants build another mound? No... the worker ants are dead and the queen is dead! What makes it effective? The patented design is engineered to facilitate the systematic evacuation of the mound by all of the ants. Other methods leave some of the ants alive under the mound. Can it be used on more than one mound? Yes... the heavy duty construction of the Destroyer unit means that you can use it on as many mounds as you have. Can I use it on a slope? Yes... special instructions on how to use it on a slope are included in the packaging. |
